Elizabeth, Office Manager/Veterinary Technician

Elizabeth has been with us since September of 2013. She graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet option in 2012. She will more than likely be the face you see when you walk in the door. Elizabeth adores getting to know the clients and their fur babies! When not at work she enjoys gardening, landscaping, fishing, and working on her 20 acre farm. Elizabeth and her husband are enjoying their new house with their dog Bruiser, cats Peter and Mama, and horse Red.

Melissa, Receptionist

Melissa is the friendly face you’ll see in reception, or speak with on the phone. Melissa originates from Fairfield, CA, but has lived in Kansas since she was 18 years old. Melissa has 2 boys, nieces and nephews, as well as 3 pets. She brings with her 4 years of veterinary clinic experience in multiple capacities. (Fun side note: Her sister Roxanne works at our Junction City location😊)

Natalia, Veterinary Technician

Natalia is a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician who joined our team after moving to Kansas from Arizona, where she earned her certificate in Veterinary Assisting and associate’s in Arts & Sciences. She currently has two dogs; a heeler mix named Athena and a miniature poodle named Nana. In addition, she has a Holland Lop, Thumper and a Guinea pig, Squiz. During her free time, Natalia enjoys going on long walks by the lake with her husband and dogs.

Elizabeth, Veterinary Technician

Liz is from Elgin, Illnois and is a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician. She has her Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Animal Science from Arkansas State University. She is currently working on becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She has two dogs, Cooper the cocker spaniel and Luna the boxer. Liz enjoys spending her free time taking her daughters Elsie and Penelope to the park, doing home projects with her husband Dan or just hanging out on the couch watching a good movie.

Shayanna, Veterinary Assistant

Shayanna is a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Assistant. She is originally from Norco, CA. In 2012, she moved to Lincoln, NE to begin her bachelor’s degree at the University of Lincoln, studying Animal Science with the intention of going to vet school. Shayanna decided in 2017 to instead pursue her masters degree in Equine Reproduction. She then transferred to Kansas State University in 2019 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Bioscience/Biotechnology, and will continue her education by applying for her masters degree in Equine Reproduction. She has a step-son named William with her fiance. She also has 3 feline kiddos: Jon, Danearys, and Arya. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time planning her wedding, reading, and doing outdoor activities with her family!

Sierra, Veterinary Technician

Sierra is a Vet Assistant/Technician that came to us from Michigan. She comes to us with 6 years of experience and a Associates degree from Delta College. Sierra is in the process of becoming a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician. In her free time, she likes to go for walks with her husband and has 3 dogs, Nikea (Rottweiler), Lacey (Labrador), and Lucky (Chihuahua).

Kristen, Veterinary Assistant

Kristen is originally from Ness City, KS. She is currently a student in Colby Community College’s Distance Learning Veterinary Nursing Program and plans to graduate spring of 2021. After graduation she hopes to become a registered veterinary technician. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is patient care. During her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her dog Hershey and her cat Oscar.

Kim, Veterinary Assistant

Kim is a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Assistant. Originally from Canton, OH, she has now lived in 5 different states and South Korea. With a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management, Kim brings her customer service expertise to both two-legged and four-legged clients alike! She found a passion with animals after adopting Dutch (fluffy shepherd mix) and furthered that passion after rescuing Gunner (Heinz 57). Her road to the veterinary world was a bit unconventional: restaurants, casino, boarding kennels, but as long as she gets to work with animals, Kim is in her happy place. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, Thomas, as well as traveling, cooking/baking, and working out, so she is able to enjoy all the tasty treats!

Logan, Veterinary Assistant

Logan grew up on a small farm in Topeka, KS, where she developed a love for both small and large animal health.  She moved to Manhattan in 2019 to attend Kansas State University as a pre-veterinary student.  Logan is currently working on her bachelor's degree in Biology with an Animal Biology option, as well as a minor in Animal Sciences and Industry and a Certificate in Equine Services.  After graduating Logan hopes to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  In her spare time Logan enjoys riding her horse Coral and spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Rory and Harley, and cat Jazzy.

Adelyn, Veterinary Assistant

Adelyn is originally from "The Great State of Texas." She has moved up here in order to attend Kansas State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Animal Science in 2021. Adelyn is currently pursuing her either her Masters in Animal Nutrition or a DVM to work with large and small animals. Adelyn enjoys doing agility and frisbee with her dog Shiner, working out, fishing, hiking, and enjoying time with friends.

Camila, Veterinary Technician

Camila is a Veterinary Technician from Overland Park, KS.  She is currently majoring in Animal Science and Industry at Kansas State University and is pre-veterinary medicine.  Camila one day hopes to one day own her own sanctuary for rescue and rehabilitation.  In her free time Camila likes to be out in nature, create art, play with her pet bunny, and spend time with family and friends.
